"Support actually got back to me fast"
I had a small problem while setting everything up, so I reached out to support. i wasn’t expecting a super quick reply, but they got back to me faster than I thought and helped me sort it out without a ton of back and forth. I did have to wait a little at one point, so it wasn’t totally perfect, but overall it was a good experience with Serverbyt. Maybe I’m just used to slower support, but this felt decent to me...

The server was set up after a few hours, which was okay, but I expected it to be a bit quicker. When I asked about the timing, I kind of felt dismissed rather than actually updated. Everything worked fine once it was ready, so no major issues there, but the start wasn’t as smooth or fast as I’d hoped. 3 stars from me.

"Not Super Easy to Use"
I really wanted to like serverbyt.com, but the site felt a little Confusing to me. A few of the settings were tucked away in places I didn’t expect, and the dashboard just didn’t feel that clear when I first logged in.
Maybe it gets better once you’re used to where everything is, but as a new user it was kind of Frustrating. I felt like I had to click around way too much just to do basic stuff.

I signed up thinking they’d have enough server options to cover what I needed, but I was disappointed. I specifically needed servers in Asia, and there were barely any available. I feel kind of stupid for trusting them without checking more closely first

"Got my refund, but I had to follow up"
I ended up asking serverbyt.com for a refund because the service just wasn’t really what I was looking for. The first response took a bit longer than I expected, and I had to explain the same problem again, which was kind of annoying because... yeah, I thought it was clear the first time.
To their credit, they did approve the refund in the end. The money showed back up after a few days, so it definitely wasn’t some sketchy situation or anything like that. Just took more back-and-forth than I would’ve liked.
I just wish the whole refund process was a bit more straightforward, honestly. A clearer timeline, faster replies, something like that. Not a terrible experience overall, but it could definitely be smoother...

"Renewal ended up being a hassle"
The renewal process was kind of a pain, honestly. I didn’t really get a clear heads-up before I was charged, and then trying to find where to manage it took way longer than it should’ve. Support did get back to me, but it was a bit slow and didn’t really clear things up much. The service itself was fine, but the whole renewal experience left a bad taste and made me not want to keep using it.

I bought this mainly for the DDoS protection, it barely did anything. My site still went down super fast, which made me wonder what exactly I was paying for. Support took forever to reply, and when they did, it was the usual vague stuff that felt like they were dodging the real issue. Maybe I’m being paranoid, but it almost felt like the protection was weak on purpose so you’d be pushed toward something more expensive. Either way, I wouldn’t use it again.

"SSL setup was surprisingly painless"
I needed help getting my SSL certificate sorted out, and they fixed it quickly without making it a whole thing. I was expecting a bunch of back-and-forth, but it was smooth. I even had time to finish my coffee before it got cold, so that was a nice bonus. Thanks again!

Managing my account has been such a hassle. Stuff either doesn’t load, doesn’t save, or just randomly doesn’t work. It’s not even about that one issue, it’s more that every time I try to do something simple, it turns into a problem...

I ended up using serverbyt mostly by just following their docs, it was way easier than I expected. It kind of reminded me of when my old coworker would walk me through setup stuff, clear steps, no extra fluff, and I could find what I needed quickly. The whole process felt a lot less confusing than I thought it would be.

"Server kept going down too often"
My server went down way more than it should have, and it caused a lot of frustration with my site. It wasn’t some one-time glitch either, it happened enough that I started feeling like I couldn’t rely on the service.
I understand that occasional issues happen, but uptime is the main reason I’m paying for hosting. At the very least, I would’ve expected an apology or some acknowledgment of how disruptive this was. For me, it just wasn’t dependable, so I can’t give more than 1 star.

I was expecting some random fee to pop up at checkout because, you know, that happens way too often. But the prices were laid out clearly, and there weren’t any weird surprises at the end. Support was fine too, not instant, so I did have that little “okay, are they going to reply?” moment, but they got back to me eventually.

"Too much downtime for my needs"
I really wanted this to work out, but my server kept going down at random times and it got frustrating quickly. Some days everything seemed totally fine, then the next day my pages would either load painfully slow or not load at all. Support did reply, but it took longer than I expected, and from the tone of the responses I kind of got the feeling it wasn’t being treated as urgently as I needed. I need hosting I don’t have to keep babysitting, so I ended up moving elsewhere
